Get Involved in Our Church

‘You Are Welcome Here’ extends beyond Sunday services to all other church activities from committee meetings to all fellowship events for families, youth and adults. To succeed as a community within the Body of Christ, we encourage all to bring their gifts to one or many of our church activities.

The governing body of the church. Consistory determines church policies, approves the annual budget, and reports to the congregation. All consistory members are elected by the congregation and can serve a maximum of (2) 3-year terms. Anyone is welcome to attend consistory meetings.

Handles all needs related to employees such as hiring, updating job descriptions and conducting performance evaluations (all staff with exception of pastors).

Responsible for the care and upkeep of the church building and grounds.

Plans and carries out youth programs including Sunday school, youth groups, and Vacation Bible School.

Encourages individuals to financially support the church. Keeps the congregation advised of opportunities for service and of financial needs in support of activities and ministries.

Oversees the overall financial health of the church including approval of fund-raising events and sales, development of the annual budget, and communicating the status of the finances to the Congregation. 

Responsible for the communication of events and activities inside the church and to the community.

Helps strengthen the church community by organizing the Sunday coffee hour and other special events at the church.

Assists with the spiritual needs of the church mainly through visitation, phone calls, greeting cards and Communion Luncheons to homebound members. They also support the Confirmation Program, baptisms and more. 

Coordinates mission work within the wider community.

Plans weekly and all special worship services to provide a meaningful worship experience.

Supports and maintains an open relationship between the pastors and congregation.
